Just a bouquet of purple wild flowers for you today, no rhyme or reason.

Oh sturdy tree of life!
What gentle harmony dost thou sing?
Thy lengthy branches sweeping strife!
What keepsakes dost this life force bring?

Behold! Golden fruit!
Perfumed blossoms perfect hang.
Light creation follows earthly suit,
While tidal rhythms sweetly sang.

Love! Thy lance is sharp!
Tender hearted this pilgrim stands.
Caressing this angelic harp.
Yet murder me when ill love lands.

Hark! Destiny rings its distant bell!
Full circle, imagined things, come to pass.
Wretched time, ticking, marking hell.
As wounded love lies bleeding on wet spent grass.

Oh Lord! Unfold this mystery that thou hast bound!
Enslave my heart with godly passion!
Curtail the rising moon until true love's found!
Let love sink deep in loving fashion!

Awake! Seek life! If precious love follows?
Composed, bow down, your beating, loving heart.
Surrender, sentenced, upon those heartless gallows.
Perhaps will, heaven then commit its earthly part.

Why is precious love so hard?
Such simple words dash our hearts!
What sense doth make this timely shard?
While lonely love casts starry charts!

Grim reaper! Turn away, then go!
Flay me gently in this even light!
Sharp scythe and sickle surely show!
Bleed me fiercely on this torrid night!

Kind Angel! Caress my hardened soul!
Reach out from heaven's gate!
Hidden beneath this worldly cloak I go!
My broken tree, my broken fate!

Have you been to Fukushima?
Have you ever dreamt the scene awe?
Earthquakes shake her, rattle, roll,
Hot radiation flaunts it's toll.
Look! There's angry Godzilla,
Spearheading that gamma-ray flotilla!
High atop Mount Fujiyama,
Lotus, chanting, enlightened Lama.

I haven't been here for a while. Away, working on new poems (and other material), digging up old material (trying to find something worth publishing again), digging in the garden (planting seeds) and as always, capturing images with my camera. Hopefully I'll have more new stuff that I can publish here real soon. Meanwhile, enjoy your life, take time to gaze at the stars and the clouds, smell all those wonderful flowers that are blooming again, listen to the birds sing and be kind to your fellow beings. Cheers!
