Full moon beaming through summer's stately trees,
Sweet Lammas ayre winding down summer's gentle breeze,
Forsooth my love, your beating heart be still!
Like moon beams dancing, 'cross a weathered window sill.

Alas my love! August has come round and dreamt again!
Oh tender moments!  Sweet thyme blooms purple o'er the rugged fen!
Moon gleam glitter! Deep and delicate like an angel's kiss!
Tenderly cradling love in my arms! Oh true love! Such joyful bliss!

Summer ripens, floating down a northern stream,
Spirits reeling naked in this erotic August dream.
My heart! Mem'ries hand in hand with muse, rejoice!
Zephyrs whisper soft, like some sensual fairy voice!

I surrender unto thee, oh love! Dance with me, I pray you!
Let me hold your hand, adore this youthful truth, so swoon!
But like a dazzling cordon lost, this August shining moon,
Thy heartfelt pulse shall wane, be a distant mem'ry soon.

Each Act, numbered I through IV, let fabled poetry be true!
Like Shakespeare's sonnets, Autumn's moon turns new!
Reciting emerald verse, blue then red, to sparkling white again,
True love's song, sung soft and sweet across the weathered fen.

Forgiveness grieves for torrid love's life of feral sin,
Can atonement ease, erase this bitter spell we're in?
What hope is born, regained in this subversive clime?
Shall divine visit, forgiving selfish love, be it so sublime?

Thus winter comes to stay, to frost each February day,
Moon shine beams full, illumines winter's drear and gray,
Across that icy plain love lingers, trills impassioned song,
Amoré rings an errant frosty bell, 'ere winters lost and gone.

Gelid January weeps, casting frigid February into its winter fling,
Janus steals Aphrodite's hand, dreaming of the coming spring,
Jupiter caresses a lustful moon with fancy rings of cherished rapture,
Kissing days, til the Ides of March, that spring's equinox then shall capture.

Alas! What myth or legend does not hold, retold in golden air?
Storied rhyme, poem and song, entrancing those that dare,
Such wanton love, that moody space, oft breaking a fragile heart,
Season to season, tracing love's opulent race, tearing fragile love apart.

On my 39th day in the desert,
An Angel came to me,
She took my hand,
Leading me across a rocky plain,
To find a Sacred Spring,
Where pure water bubbles up,
Pouring clean and fresh from somewhere,
Deep in Mother Earth,
I knelt in prayer,
Grateful,
I drank deeply,
Refreshed,
I stood,
Looking at the stars in the sky,
I thought it strange,
As it was day,
But there were the stars,
Shining like a cosmic maze,
For me to follow.
Smiling,
That kind Angel kissed me,
Wrapping her wings 'round my essence,
Telling me it was time to go home.
Love and compassion filled me in that moment of bliss,
It was a relief as just the day before,
Lost in that desert place,
Wandering under the blistering rays of the sun,
I heard a primal scream,
In unison, the voice of all humankind,
Screaming together,
Almost a wail and moan,
Mixed it seemed,
Shouting up to heaven,
Wondering why God had forsaken us,
Forsaken the earth,
But then, my Angel,
Enveloped by her perfect aura of shimmering light,
Reminded me,
It was not God that had forsaken us,
God has not forsaken the earth,
It is humanity,
All of us,
That have forsaken God.
Gifted with that knowledge,
Angel and I turned to the east,
Wand'ring on that hot sand,
Beginning our last day walking in that desert land,
Where finally on our journey I spied a searchlight,
Beaming Hope from somewhere,
I thought it was from the edge of the earth,
Perhaps held by the hand of Gaia herself,
So we journeyed closer,
Angel remaining close by my side,
Realizing in time that searchlight was not of this earth,
But shining from heaven itself,
Urging me onward,
Beckoning me forward,
Filling me with strength and hope,
Enough faith to continue on.
Finally I came to pearl gates,
Where my Angel kissed me again,
Telling me I must go back,
To that desert,
To wander even more,
Furthering my search,
Seeking more springs,
Searching to find a Sacred Fount,
So that I might fill my cup,
Heal my wounded heart with compassion,
Replenish my soul,
With God's eternal love,
So that I may yet live,
Still breathe,
Wander and dream,
Imagining all things good and pure,
All things Sacred and Blessed,
So on that final day,
When God calls me,
I may approach Heaven's Gates,
Passing through,
Entering with my soul cleansed of all my earthly sins,
So that I can kneel at the Throne of the King,
Kiss his Holy feet,
Where he will take me in his loving arms,
Hold me like the innocent child that I am,
Tell me stories about purity, power, glory,
Thus he shall grant me wings to fly,
So I may join heaven's choir,
Singing praises to God Almighty,
Knowing I have finally found home,
Once again,
Where my soul will be nurtured,
Resting in that pure place,
Where all things begin and end,
Alpha and Omega,
Where all prayers are answered,
Where Sacred Light becomes us,
Where Holiness surrounds us,
Where Creation's Spring is evident,
In that very Source,
We finally understand vibration,
Which becomes life itself,
Becomes Wisdom and Knowledge,
So existence and being is never lost,
So that we shall forever know,
God Loves Us.

When I was born I discovered life.
When I slept I dreamed dreams.
When I woke I dreamed reality.
When I died I found heaven.
When I awoke in heaven I transcended reality.
When I transcended reality I was born again.
When I was born again death became me.
When I became death all the stars in all the universes became God.
When all the universes became God, Light transcended the All.
When the All transcended creation all the heavens and all the stars collided.
When eternity collided black holes swallowed each atom,
every single nano particle.
When particles transcended every black hole creation was born again.
When creation was conceived and born again all dreams began.
When dreams began light transcended the dark nothingness.
When nothingness transcended transcendence God created Godhead.
When Godhead breathed life birth was dreamed,
and Light became creation.

There is death in this household,
Shall we flee, or shall we stay?
There is extinction in this country,
Shall we moan, or shall we sway?

There is hardship in this land,
Wish me flight, or wish me dead?
There is adversity in this nation,
Wish me plight, or wish me stead?

When did comfort leave our souls?
Hast thou murdered in place of wondrous good?
When did boasting proudly take the stand?
Hast thou angered life, has goodness stood?

When did wickedness take the helm?
Should evil reign, spilling thy brother's blood?
When did honour bow to nought, in neglectful reduction?
Should glory be praised, raised as art in this sinful flood?

Here we vie and vile on good planet earth,
Spinning round God's spiraling middle finger,
Flying time, traversing space for all thy shadow's worth,
Wond'ring by decree, will majestic God let humankind linger?

So many casual twists, a myriad of miserly turns,
How fragile this co-dependent, verdant precious life,
With its soaring ups, those plummeting downs,
So much burden, so little joy, so much bloody strife.

While tyrants rule, all life suffers,
As slaves are chained, then freedoms lost,
When War Lords cast their demon spell,
Dignity's washed red, with such a bloody hateful cost.

Enchanted by the morning light of every waking dawn,
Deer visit Eden's peaceful yard, welcome each new day,
Gentle loveliness, quiet mews spoken to the docile fawn,
Stately trees sway to then fro, entangled within this supreme play.

CAKE and ICE CREAM

I dreamed a dream,
A party theme,
But no cake and ice cream,
No sweet dessert,
No fancy drinks,
No sexy flirt,
As thunder clapped,
Rain poured down,
Twixt a crowd of smiles,
Not a single frown.

I dreamed a dream,
No cake, nor ice cream,
No honeyed dessert,
Still, a crowd of smiles,
Not one frown,
As thunder clapped,
Wicked rain poured down,
O'er those party games,
O'er that just dessert,
O'er those happy claims,
O'er all that silent hurt.

I dreamed a dream,
No sweet dessert,
Crowds that smile,
Not a single flirt,
All that deceitful guile,
All those party games,
All that thunder clapping,
Midst those gala claims.

So much want,
So much need,
Infinite sorrows,
In this time of gaunt,
Indefinite tomorrows,
In this spell of strife,
In this age, effects so uncertain,
Seek meaning for one's life,
Veiled by midnight's curtain,
Secret words murmured oft,
Spoken in my ear,
Riddles whispered soft,
One holds them dear.

Love's sweet garden,
Nurtured in my heart,
Tow'ring waves dashing,
Those Eden dreams apart,
Spectres rise from timeless graves,
Dream morning dew, a perfect drop,
Wounded time, thus surely braves,
A withered blossom, with a withered top,
Gentle gestures, caress the night away,
While perfumed dreams, flutter spent,
O'er that party crowd, that seldom stray,
Purloining heartfelt love, dreams they rent,
With cake and ice cream, upon their lips,
As thunder clapped, 'tween their sordid quips.
