Twelve Feet Down

Twelve feet down Baby,
Twelve feet down,
Bury me twice Baby,
Twelve feet down,
Bury me twice Baby,
Twelve feet down,
That`s where love lies,
Twelve feet down,
That`s where our love lies Baby,
Buried twelve feet down,
Deep down in the cold cold ground Baby,
Love lies buried twelve feet down.

Twelve feet down Baby,
Twelve feet down,
That`s where our love lies,
Buried twelve feet down,
This is where our love died,
Baby buried twelve feet down,
Twelve feet down Baby,
Love lies buried twelve feet down.

Twelve feet down Baby,
Twelve feet down,
Remember that crying night Baby,
Twelve feet down,
Crying on that rainy night Baby,
We buried love twelve feet down,
Twelve feet down Baby,
Our love lies buried twelve feet down.

When You Call

2:30 a.m. my plastic phone rings, momentary hesitation then I pick up,
My lucid mind knows this recitation, "Hello! How are you!"
Your flutter voice makes my shuddering heart butter up,
Sweetly swelling, "Hello! It's so nice to hear you!"
If only I could crawl through this drastic line and hold you I would,
Sometimes I still lose my spastic self dreaming about seeing you,
Long lonely nights I spend, making me think we should, we should,
I know you could in kind, you mind though caressing some other love plan,
I know there are times,  you nestled there in the arms of some other man,
From here where love streaked, on this distant peak where wistful stood,
Something caged dares raze up, deep inside ringing brass on a raised cymbal bell,
Sprinkling harmony in this crazed breeze, brazenly in some wonder dell,
I know tinkling words seem distant, there's all this cautious I speak,
My no whiled away from thee, while you`re walking some far off city street,
Vision wishes you standing in this naked light, embraced by these warm loving arms,
Love feeding us dates, passion peeling grapes for you, kissing your perfect charms,
Envision forbidden fruit, this rich light secretly ripens Eden with a bold and golden fall,
Life`s gnarled tree greening, knotted dreams just a step beyond these two feet and then,
So soon again, too soon another constellation `goodbye`, hanging us up again,
Captured and caged again, wonderment sings again with your poetic late night call.
